Lower Moss Wood, Knutsford-wildlife rescue centre
Lower Moss Wood is a private educational nature reserve and wildlife hospital. It provides a place for schools, disabled visitors, environmental groups and others to learn about conservation and the environment. The wildlife hospital takes in orphaned, sick or injured wild animals or birds for treatment and care. *They were absolutely brilliant with a hedgehog (Paddington) that we recovered from the canal behind our base here at Cheshire Catz and we would highly recommend! They will accept monetary donations for the treatment to the injured wildlife.
- To report a casualty: Ring 01565 755082 and bring the casualty to the wildlife hospital between 10am and 4pm.

Warrington Animal Welfare
Animal rescue, adoption & neuter.
The charity was setup to provide financial support for pet owners on low income or benefits to help them to pay to have their pet's neutered, in a bid to reduce the amount of stray, abandoned and unwanted pets in Warrington and surrounding areas.
- Raise awareness of pet ownership, neutering and microchipping.
- Low-cost neutering for pet owners who are on benefits/low income.
- Offer help and assistance to re-home unwanted pets.
